Today I spoke with Emily Travis of We All Eat, about… THE PANDEMIC!
Y’all knew I had to go and have an episode about all that. We talk about such a wide range of topics within the pandemic from food intake, food scarcity, to body image and movement.
Emily received a Bachelors of Science in Nutrition Sciences from Baylor University and a Masters in Public Health from the University of Texas School of Public Health. She is also a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist on behalf of the International Associate of Eating Disorder Professionals and currently serves as a board member for Houston Eating Disorder Specialists. Emily originally started We All Eat as an instagram hobby and turned it into a full blown private practice in just 3 years! She is passionate about helping people cultivate a healthier relationship with food, body, and movement, and is definitely known for dreaming big. In addition to We All Eat, Emily co-founded Nourish, a Christian Support group for women overcoming disordered eating. Emily is interested in further educating the Christian community on disordered relationships with food and how this can overlap in religion everywhere.
